When your favorite apps don’t run anymore, what do you do? I had a problem with one of MY favorite Windows Mobile applications, Snoopsoft Dashboard, and I got pretty lucky.Let’s take a look at the results...
The last couple of weeks, I’ve been dealing with a couple of issues related to a device that outgrew one of my favorite applications – Snoopsoft Dashboard (see previous reports here and here).
Last week, I mentioned that the app’s author, and friend of mine, Chris Scott, was hard at work on the problem, and promised to get back to me.
I have some great news... everything worked out the way I was hoping it would. Chris was able to figure out what the problem was, and was able to get me an updated application that works on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional (Dashboard doesn’t run on WM Standard or Smartphones/non-touch screen devices).

The best news yet relates to the other application I was referring to last week; but was bound by NDA to keep to myself – Spb Mobile Shell 3 also runs on the Epix, and runs very well.

I am in the process of completing a review of Spb Mobile Shell 3 with Doug Goldring of Just Another Mobile Monday and Clinton Fitch of ClintonFitch.com. We’re also planning on posting it here, at Windows Mobile Italy for everyone to read and enjoy.
So, stay tuned and keep your eyes on the site, as we’ll have it posted shortly!
