Last week, I ran into problems with a really great application on my Samsung Epix, Snoopsoft Dashboard. This week, I’ve got an update on the issue. Let’s check it out...
Last week, I told you about one of my most favorite Windows Mobile applications, Snoopsoft Dashboard, and how it really wasn’t working or playing well with my Samsung Epix.
I wasn’t sure if it was WM 6.1, the 320x320 screen, both, or something else entirely. Fortunately, I’ve got a quick update for everyone.
I’ve been in touch with Snoopsoft’s Chris Scott, and he thinks that he’s found the cause of the problem, and is currently unit testing a fix.
I was hoping that I would have the software by now, so that I had a more solid update, but unfortunately, I don’t. However, I do expect to have an updated version of the software in the next few days.
Knowing Chris as I do, if the version he sends doesn’t work out of the box for me, it won’t take much to resolve any issues I find. I hope to have screen shots for everyone by this time, next week.

On a related note, while I can’t go into any details at this time, I do want to put something...sorta...on everyone’s radar – a new version of a similar (but not quite) competing product, is going to be hitting the Internet shortly.
Please look for additional information in the coming weeks. I’ve got the product now, and it is totally amazing! Unfortunately, there’s an embargo on any and all details until sometime next week, and I can’t divulge any information, or I’ll lose my decoder ring...
